The New York Health Board thinks that certain chain restaurants (at least those with a minimum of 15 branches) should display calorie information on their menus. In fact, this is due to become law by April 2008 so they seem to be convinced that this is a good thing.

With today’s ever expanding waist lines, the obesity epidemic is growing at an alarmingly rapid pace. The ever modern western world seems to have one of the biggest problems.

Can you imagine a nation where over 65% of the people are trying to cope with obesity? Well, we have it, right on our doorsteps as the US and also UK are tryng to solve this massive (lol!) problem. In spite of the fact that the governments spend enormous amounts of money in educating children and adults about what and what not to eat there are a large number of people falling for the scams out there.
